Manchester United are undecided whether to turn Colombia striker Radamel Falcao’s loan move into a permanent deal. United could sign the 28-year-old, who has scored one goal in five matches since arriving from Monaco, for £46m in the summer. However, manager Louis van Gaal is having doubts about his suitability to the physicality of the Premier League and could pursue other targets.
